How to make a reservation:
To reserve a house or apartment, you must send us an email indicating the dates of arrival and departure, the number of people and, in the case of children, their age, and finally your name and 2 telephones numbers.
To complete the booking we request a deposit by bank transfer. We will send you a detailed email with full instructions.
1 · The first payment must be made by bank transfer. The remaining amount can be paid by transfer before arrival or in cash on the day of arrival. We do not accept credit card payments.
2 · In the event of cancellations, the deposit will be reimbursed provided that the house or apartment can be rented out to someone else for the same number of nights.
3 · Bear in mind that the reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit payment has been received. Once it has been received, we will confirm your reservation by email.
4 · At the time of reserving, you must specify the number of people who will be staying in the house or apartment. The number of people staying in the house or apartment must not exceed the amount stated on the reservation. In the event that the actual number of people exceed the number specified on the reservation, the owners or team of the rental houses have the right to request the client to vacate the house or apartment, and the client will have no right to claim any type of compensation.
5 · During the months of June, July, August and September our policy is a minimum stay of seven nights. We can offer shorter stays, but you’ll need to check with us.
6 · On the day you leave, the staff will check that the house or apartment is being returned in an acceptable condition with regards to cleanliness and tidiness and that there are no damages, in which case you will be required to pay compensation accordingly.
7 · There will be a charge of 60 EUR for loss of house keys, while loss of safe keys will incur a charge 100 EUR.
8 · We are sorry, but animals are not able to join their owners on holiday and animals are not allowed in any of our properties.
We hope you understand our position on this which is taken for the benefit of all our guests.
9 · CHECK-IN TIME: From 4pm.
10 · CHECK-OUT TIME: 11am.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is from 4pm. However we will always try our best to accommodate clients who wish to check in earlier. In any case, we can look after your luggage until your house or apartment is ready.
We ask that you advise us of your arrival time or of any possible delays on previously-arranged arrival times.
The latest check-out time is 11am.
PROCESS OF ARRIVING AND DEPARTING
1. Along with your reservation confirmation, we will send you an email containing all of the necessary information for your arrival: our exact address with details of how to get here and our contact numbers.
2. We ask that you let us know the time of your arrival in Formentera so that we can have someone waiting for you, to accompany you to your house or apartment and give you the keys. We will make a note of your personal details: your DNI or passport number, and the remaining amount owed for your rental will be settled (this amount will be indicated in the confirmation email).
We would be grateful if you could let us know of any flight or boat delay.
3. Please feel free to contact us for any information you need, such as restaurant recommendations or simply if you have any questions regarding the apartment or Formentera in general. We can also recommend a contact for car hire, and we can book a taxi for you on the day you leave.
If you have paid the deposit and you need to cancel the reservation, the deposit will be reimbursed as long as the house or apartment can be rented out to someone else for the same number of nights.
If you cut short your stay, by arriving later or leaving earlier than expected, this is considered to be a cancellation of those nights and this cancellation will not entitle you to a reimbursement of the corresponding amount.
However, you can change the dates of your stay as long as we have availability. Changes to reservations (dates, number of people, house or apartments of accommodation) are possible as long as they have been approved in advance by us by e-mail.
Modification or cancellation of a reservation must always be communicated in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
We advise you to take out travel insurance. In the event of cancellation, including for reasons of force majeure, the cancellation terms and conditions outlined here will apply.
The owners of Casas Can Xicu Castelló and Apartamentos Laura will not be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a consequence of staying at a house or apartment, including but not limited to fire, robbery, accidents or any other type of damage.
We ask that families with kids take special care of their children to ensure they come to no harm.
All reservations are on condition that these General Terms and Conditions have been accepted; therefore it is important for the user or client to read them.
In compliance with that set out in “Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal” we advise you that, when you complete the forms your personal details are retained and will be treated as the property of Casas Can Xicu Castelló y Apartamentos Laura for the purpose of being able to offer our services and to inform you of improvements to our website.
